What is the green bike?
Green bikes supports the development of a green ecosystem to reduce carbon footprint in our community. Green technology: our italian e-bikes are manufactured by five following the principles of nzeb (nearly zero energy building). The energy is produced in-house and recycled for the entire production. Hi power cycles has been building e-bikes in the usa since 2008. Every bike is assembled in our usa warehouse using premium components and precision engineering. Designed for riders who demand maximum capability, reliability, and power, our bikes deliver a level of performance far beyond conventional electric bikes.
Are e-bikes green?
Despite requiring electricity, e-bikes are much more efficient than motorised vehicles and use up to 90% less C02 and other emissions – a great alternative to driving! Using an e-bike instead of a car is one way that you can make a difference to reduce your personal financial and environmental costs. Entry-level electric bikes are about $1,000. High-end e-bikes can cost $6,000 or more. While you can find new e- bikes for less than $500, we don’t recommend them.If you’re considering an electric bike, one of the most important questions to ask is: How long does an e-bike last? While the lifespan of an e-bike varies, a good-quality, well-maintained ebike can typically last 5 to 10 years, sometimes even longer.
