Are big bikes harder to ride?
Heavier motorbikes can be a bit different to manoeuvre because of their extra weight, but they do have a better grip on the road. You will feel a bigger bike’s weight at low speeds but not when you’re riding at high speeds. There isn’t a lot of hard data out there yet, but a few studies, such as this one from Pinkbike, confirm marginal but noticeable speed gains. Then there’s the obvious appeal for taller riders, who could benefit from a more proportionally sized bike, wheels included.
