Where are Ride1Up bikes made?
Our bikes are designed at our corporate head quarters in San Diego, CA. We source components internationally and our bikes are manufactured in Asia, where 98% of bike components are manufactured. Our main point of assembly and international Quality Control team are at factories near Shanghai. In the bike industry, there is not much variation in where carbon frames are made. Virtually all of them, including for example many of the iconic “Italian” frames, are made in China. The big difference is not in the origin of the frames, but rather in the labeling.
