Are Focus e-bikes any good?
Overall. Mid-power eMTBs currently offer the best all-round mountain bike experience and the Focus Jam2 SL is the best mid-power experience I’ve had so far. The bike may well have more than its fair share of niggles but, as I said above, as soon as you’re off and riding this bike you forgive them all. Verdict. The Focus Thron 6. ABS is exactly what an eMTB should be, a proper trail bike that still feels like a mountain bike, just with a bit of a boost when you need it. It climbs like you’d expect an eBike to climb, rides confidently on the descents, and has that “one more lap” kind of vibe.
